Altafruta S.L., situated in the Valencian area of Bugarra, in the Los Serranos region, is in charge of trading in the brand name “Cherrita”.

A recently created company of a distinctly family-run nature, it dedicates itself exclusively to the cultivation , selection and commercial exporting of cherries . Its aim is to position itself well in the food market through the marketing of high quality fruit.

To do so, it has implemented a variety distribution system, taking advantage of the micro-climatic variations that are to be found in the Gestalgar, Chera, Sot de Chera and Chiva areas, so producing top quality product s, free of residues and following environmentally-friendly processes.

This has also been possible thanks to the determined drive towards implementing technology and ensuring product quality through traceability controls, non-existent up till now in this sector.

Similarly, and within its main objectives, is the aim of fully blending in with the surrounding environment, as well as contributing to maintaining the qualities of the landscape. This has been achieved through actions such as integrated pest control, the implementation of an integrated product ion system and the appropriate preparation of the lands and planting design.

In this field of activity, Altafruta has succeeded in making use of renewable sources of energy and, in general, promoting the conservation of natural resources, strengthening, at the same time, reusage and recycling processes.
